Long live the King! TalentLMS named a “Leader LMS” for 2017

TalentLMS (and Epignosis in general) is no stranger to industry awards.

Last fall we were picked in Capterra’s Top 20 Most Affordable LMS Software and ranked #4 in their Top 20 Most User-Friendly LMS Software list ― as well as earning the fourth spot in GetApp’s LMS Category Leaders ranking.

Earlier in the same year we were also acknowledged by FinancesOnline for their “Best LMS Software Award” for 2016, and, finally (unless we are forgetting something) we were also ranked as Cloudswave’s second best Learning Management System for the spring quarter of 2016 AND as their top Training Software for the same period.

Hey, it’s not bragging if others are saying good things about us!

Well, 2017 has barely started, and we are already on a good track, having done quite well in Software Advice’s “FrontRunners for Learning Management” quadrant for January 2017.

Software Advice, the Gartner-owned, established review site and advisory resource for software buyers and corporate decision makers follows a strict and elaborate methodology (1) to map software on a graph based on its relative strength as being a “Leader”, “Master”, “Pacesetter” or “Contender” product.

Leaders are the pinnacle of the software available for a specific market — offering the highest average value and capability in their niche. Masters, on the other hand, have fewer, but well-chosen capabilities, and might even outperform a Leader product in certain functionalities.

Pacesetters offer a strong feature set, but not as high a value, while Contenders are up and coming, strong-performing products that have not yet achieved a high enough value and capability (but might offer specialized functionality that comes at a price).

While all products in Software Advice’s listing of learning management FrontRunners are considered to be “top performing products in their market” according to the review site, TalentLMS is one of a very small minority to be positioned squarely in the Leader’s quadrant (with the vast majority being either Contenders or Masters).

We are extremely proud of TalentLMS’ performance in this comparative analysis. Especially since Gartner, Software Advice’s parent company is the world’s leading information technology research and advisory firm ― heck, “ΙΤ” is literally their middle name.

That doesn’t mean that we will be resting on our laurels, of course. In fact, we are already hard at work on some important updates for the Cloud LMS you love to love.
