We spoke with Danielle Eldridge, HR L&D Lead & LMS Administrator at Wider Circle, about how TalentLMS helped transform her organization’s learner engagement initiatives. Wider Circle provides training to full-time employees, contractors, and volunteers. This means they needed a highly customizable reporting tool to instantly access the right training data. Danielle found TalentLMS’s customizable reports invaluable for both their functionality and ease of use, in no small part thanks to TalentLMS’s revamped interface.

With TalentLMS’s reports, she can quickly access and tailor insights based on specific users, courses, and other parameters to assess the progress of Wider Circle’s training. Thanks to scheduled reports, managers across the organization can also stay up to date on training progress without needing to log in to the portal themselves.

Maximizing engagement by categorizing training courses
When Wider Circle transitioned from their previous training platform, they didn’t start creating courses from scratch. Instead, they successfully migrated their compliance, onboarding, and refresher courses into their new TalentLMS portal.
Given the variety and volume of their courses, they wanted to keep them neatly organized at all times. TalentLMS’s categories allowed them to group courses by job roles and departments, ensuring learners could clearly find the right training on their own. And by using TalentLMS’s branches, Wider Circle created sub-portals for different types of learners, such as active staff and former employees seeking additional training for new roles. Deploying brand-new training with TalentLMS’s AI course creator
With engaging training now in place, Danielle and her team started exploring ways to maximize the potential of their new solution. As they were outlining the content needed for this program, Wider Circle also began testing TalentLMS’s AI course creator. With it, Danielle quickly generated the exact training content she needed.

With them, learners could easily access courses, streamlining course assignments and aligning them with specific goals set by Danielle and her team while giving learners a sense of achievement in unlocking their training.

Laying the groundwork for the future with TalentLMS
Looking ahead, Danielle and her team have ambitious plans for TalentLMS, using it to reinforce and expand collaboration between their call center staff and field teams. The goal is to foster ongoing, hands-on communication and team building while ensuring that the experience is never overwhelming for the participants.
To do so, they’ll organize on-demand sessions using TalentLMS’s Instructor-Led Training (ILT) features. With ILT, groups of users can interact, share insights, and learn from each other by simply jumping into the session that best suits their needs and schedules.
