Resources Development Plan
Your managers have just arrived at the company, and now they are onboarding employees. It’s great to welcome new staff. But how can they do that when they are almost as new as the employees they are inducting? Inducting employees while finding their own feet is challenging. But by showing the team members that they are trusted and valued, new managers will gain respect while empowering others to step up.
By encouraging collaboration, they’ll excel at onboarding even as new managers. They shouldn’t forget the expertise they bring, including their own recent induction experiences. They will need to create a team-led onboarding plan to successfully welcome new employees. Basic kindness and listening will help, along with their many other transferable skills.
Identifying and applying transferable skills to the onboarding process
Navigating the dynamics and culture of the new organization
Leveraging new employee experience to connect with new staff
This course reframes the challenge of onboarding staff by showing your new managers how to leverage their unusual position. They’ll learn how to draw from other skill sets, and use their own onboarding journey as inspiration. And they’ll discover ways that being new is an unexpected strength for managing onboarding.
